Mr. Mims is a LEED AP and United States Green Building Council (USGBC) member. We incorporate sustainable building practices into each project wherever it can be supported.

Mims Engineering, Inc has designed projects of various scope and scale, from churches to high schools. As an example, the COLSA project included designing the cooling and humidifying for server rooms, HVAC for SKIF areas, high bay shop areas and interactive situation rooms. The client list also includes Boeing, Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, Madison County Schools, Huntsville Municipal, Decatur City Schools, Florence City Schools, UAHuntsville, Huntsville Madison County Airport, etc.

Mims Engineering also offers construction administration services, including submittal and shop drawing review, RFI response, key meeting attendance, site visits for pre wall and ceiling close in, final punch list and issuing final as builts that include all mechanical post-CD addenda change.
